The United States was founded on republican principles, not democratic ones. The term "democracy" doesn't appear in the founding documents of the United States, & the Framers of the Constitution deliberately crafted a system of government based on the principles of republicanism, with elected representatives, separation of powers, & checks & balances.

Republicanism emphasizes the rule of law, protection of individual rights, & representative government, where elected officials serve the interests of the people. This system was designed to prevent the concentration of power & protect against the potential tyranny of the majority.

It's essential to recognize & uphold the foundational principles of republicanism upon which the United States was established.

Democracy=you have no rights/property, the mob/government rules period.
Republicanism=you have inalienable rights, we/you/me self govern & allow a government but only if held responsible to us.
