So some parts of Houston are still a mess and our section has no power yet since about 6:30 PM on Thursday. Lots of trees down in our area, some on power lines, some power lines on the ground. Trees need to be removed and cut up before they can address power lines. Back fence is down, on all sides but one, as are some of our neibs. A few shingles and some big limbs out of our live oaks but no real structure damage so we are thankful for that. Seeing many of the big trees and limbs, in neighborhoods have missed the houses and cars parked outside and that’s a blessing for sure. We have
Tankless hot water heaters that require electricity for the fans so we’ve been taking cold showers….not too bad actually….if you don’t dally! Praying our power comes on soon. You always have a new appreciation when you don’t have your
‘normal’😜👍😄

I just read on Click2Houston that Centerpoint is saying by Wednesday. Of course it will be the hottest week so far this year. Thinking good thoughts for that side of town!
