It can be more stealthy such as telling you all your holidays are really satanic and they really mean this and thus encouraging people to think others are satanic and it goes on and on. Yes, we have some evil doers amongst us, but it should be more obvious by now that it is not a winning strategy to tear down what someone else's religion or culture means to them. It is a strategy to cause doubt and isolation to make someone open to their ideas.
