Are all of the theories we posit true? No. Not at all.
At the same time, the collective knowledge and discernment gained as we wade through rivers of bullshit to attain the truth are absolutely priceless.
Not to mention the bonds forged, and the faith gained.
This is why they are terrified of Q.
Because Q has brought people together for a greater cause than themselves.
