This reminds me of Revelations.
The pale horse is a representation of Death,
& the 4th & final Horseman of the Apocalypse.

In Revelations 6:2, John describes describes how he
“looked, & behold a pale horse:
& his name that sat on him was Death, & Hell followed with him.”

This also reminds me of Game of Thrones
when Ayra rode a pale horse away
from the death & destruction of Kings Landing.
Many characters in GOT rode a pale horse before they died.
Ned Stark rode a pale horse from Winterfell to Kings Landing
then had his head chopped off.
Catelyn Stark rode a white horse to The Twins,
where she met her end at The Red Wedding.
