I buy organic only, which is more expensive, no packaged anything
We have a produce farm 1 mile down road opening in May
Angers me that 90 years ago food was food, organic if you will, then all of a sudden we saw organic foods pop up, and paying more for wholesome food.
We get our eggs locally, meats locally, cheese locally.
I only read the labels to educate myself & have 1/2 hour convos with others in stores who see what’s happening 😁 last one was with an older woman who grew up on a farm & she was on top of a lot of what is happening. She said to me, glad I’m not the only one 🙌🏼
We r fortunate to have local produce sold in our stores here. Also shop at our local health food store that has a lot of local produce
