Better yet..buy a window breaker and keep it on your key chain. Snap the window open and allow water to fill car then swim out. It will not work on some car models due to windows are LAMINATED.

Moat vehicles go down motor first so the backseat is where many end up trying to get away from the water. Break back window if thats where you end up at also. Find out if your car has laminated windows.
Lakes and rivers are have underwater caskets and no one knows they are there..UNTIL...teams like AWP came along.....and has made it well known now. If you have a missing loved one that their car is also gone too..most likely they are underwater..waiting to be found.
