It's very real. The hotel is "said to" be in relation to the Standard Hotel. Many people, celebrities have said it is the place you can check out but you can never leave. All the proof you need is in the words of the song. I have been researching the music rabbit hole for almost 10 years. The dangers of rock music started surfacing in the 80's. That is Anton LaVey on the balcolny btw.
