Europe banned gmo. I buy Italian flour because it’s gmo free. Not as easy to buy cheese but possible.

been doing a LOT of digging on this issue today. Seems that some European countries do not use animal rennet when shipping to US. It is really hard to find cheeses with the labeling on them as to which rennet they are using. One in WI uses a non-GMO non animal rennet made from plants. Really have to dig.

You will either have to make your own or start asking local cheese makers what they use. My digging came up with a WI company that does use plant based rennet that is NOT GMO, so there is that.
