Is this supposed to imply the reason for Trump not pardoning Assange? Since when has Trump ever done or not done something due to a threat? Not buying it.
I agree with you, that Trump can not be bullied. I believe the reason he didn't pardon Assange is that he needs him for the finale of the movie. If he was set free before he had a chance to testify in court, he would be dead IMO. This just shows that McConnell is a d*ck. But we already knew that from all his actions. He is controlled by China.
