Even people who abuse you, understand them. You don't have to stay near them. Just understand them. It helps you learn what happened to you and why, at their hand.

Yes, I agree. It's a hard pill for most to accept. Learning what is our struggle by watching others is very deep and requires much understanding. Its unfortunate that in most cases there is an underliying problem that is triggered by 'the straw that broke the camels back'. I had a realization in my youth that helped me get past many of my issues that could have held me back and cause me to be bitter toward others. It goes, "When you realize what the problem is, it's no longer an excuse but rather time to do something about it".
