And he didnt say 'to prevent toddlers from dying..: he said 'when they are...'...
So.. he is telling us there are toddlers dying or about to be targeted. Its an affirmative statement.... he is telling us toddlers are going to die. ... thats separate from the guns...
The two things can be occuring simultainoulsy ...
He may as well say.. "If we are gonna kill these xx we need better gun laws to protect us from the consequences...."
