My granddaddy passed away in 1977 at the age of 78. I remember him saying, when I was just a kid, that he wasn’t sure when his birthday was because the calendars had changed when he was younger and didn’t agree with what Maw had written in the Bible anymore. Kinda makes sense now but I thought he was crazy at the time.
