I brush with dental powder, floss, then use a different brush to brush with coconut oil. Since I started using coconut oil, my plaque has disappeared! It’s amazing!

I don’t like “oil pulling” that’s why I brush the coconut oil on instead.

I will have to try mixing some clove oil in with the coconut oil. 😀

Sometimes, I use coconut oil with baking soda....I'm gonna try the clove oil as well ;)

I make my own dental powder using natural baking soda, bentonite clay, cinnamon and a small amount of artificial sweetener (optional). No more fluoride toothpaste for me.

I also do my hydrogen peroxide inhalation therapy (to prevent illness) twice a day. Since hydrogen peroxide whitens teeth I brush before rinsing the hydrogen peroxide from my mouth.

Thank you! I do not trust the dental offices. They push xrays and still use fluoride. I get the side eye every time I ask them not to use those things.

I love my hygienist she is “awake”. She and I enjoy catching up with each other at my appointments. She also told me I don’t have to do any procedures I don’t want regardless of how much the dentists push. I am wary of anything that requires an injection. I have a hairline crack in a tooth and the dentist wants to put in a crown. My hygienist said if it isn’t bothering me I can wait, it might crack any time or never. But I should not feel pressured into doing anything I don’t want to. She is great!
