More to the story-From Martinsville Gazette: "Still, Gianforte said he would continue to wear a mask for the time being and encouraged others to do so. Local jurisdictions will still be permitted to implement mask mandates after the statewide rule is lifted." Also, I would like to know the source of the meme? Have not seen anything where DPHHS has called mask wearing "stupid."

I just took a screenshot of the article. Don't know the source, but do know the mandate will be repealed. Many in MT have stopped wearing masks or enforcing them for quite awhile now. Of course there will be people that I know will probably never stop which is sad and I know stores can have their own policy but for the most part we have been able to go anywhere we want without much enforcement. Except Costco which is why I cancelled my membership.
I'm not debating the repeal of the mandate. DPHHS does not appear to be shown on the article as what is seen in the meme. I posted the link to the article below my comment. Possibly they edited it because I don't think DPHHS appreciate that.
