To make the moves authentic, they movie them with a real person and then turn it into animated characters. This minimizes production costs. The same costumes or film scenes. For example in Hellboy (2004) and The Brothers Grimm (2005) are often used - they are made of filming with the same scenes in Prague in the Barrandov film studios.
The whole media and the movie are a scam.
