Just as the frogs are metaphorical, so too are the flies. I believe the flies represent all the people buzzing around mainstream bullshit. Flies are attracted to death, shit, etc. That is the left. Those that continue to watch the TV are gobbling up shit on a daily basis. They eat their own.
