I had a head injury as a child. Its how I had my NDE I've talked about. I don't think anyone can notice anything different about me. But sometimes I don't pick up on nuance, particularly sarcasm and some jokes. And yes, it's from my concussion because I couldn't tell so many jokes myself after the concussion, like I did before it. My personality changed, hallmark of brain damage.
So tonight I'm on X, and a woman made a sarcastic caption to her post, and I replied as if it were literal and not sarcastic. Not the first time I've done it, but the first time a person was an actual asshole about it.
Right on X she says under my comment, "I can't believe some people take me seriously" and now there's a running thread about what a dumbshit I am.
Even adults can be so mean.

I have seen IDK med beds in December. : )
