That is the thing, many have not been affected personally yet.
Hell the ones that have suffered the most are the ones that have been awake the longest in many cases.

I have a sister in law...I always think of her and ask myself "what would change her opinion?" She is quite the MN liberal, feminist, "college educated and only has college educated friends" - is in denial about everything cause "inflation is normal" and she loves to send me articles on white privilege. Yet, she is pampered - my brother gives her a good life, they travel a lot and stay in upscale places...Now, if she wasn't able to do all the nice things she does because the money is gone - THEN I believe she would open her eyes.
I love my sister in law, I feel sorry for her because she's all kinds of backwards, but she hasn't been "affected" in anyway ... and until she is, when she's been made uncomfortable - then I believe there will be a change of heart.

Nana knows many, many like this and when they go to the bank and the card rejects they are going to totally melt down.
I worry about my deceased son's daughter out in Denver, no worse, because I know good and well her Mom and new Dad are both prize winning snowflakes without a fookn clue. They wont have anything, supplies or cash or water or any fookn thing else.
Let us pray for them, that God open their eyes to the truth! We can only do so much; and if they will not be willing to see what we see, it is because, maybe, they are not ready. We can pray that they realize we are trying to assist them, and that God will help them, all they have to do is Ask!

I do pray for her - she is quite unreasonable and has caused strife in the family. BUT family is everything and we love my brother dearly and she is his wife. One day soon though I believe her eyes will open, she has a good heart, but she is the one person in my life that I know will need help when the time comes.
My brother has a big job ahead of him, he's not liberal at all but her and my niece are going to be an emotional mess.
I will help her burn that Michelle Obama book she has...and lets talk about Oprah Winfrey! 😆 I am just waiting in the wings. LOL
