Well it could be anything, as there are black hats, white hats, red hats, and gray hats even.
Hard to tell what hacking job, sometimes, by whom! Especially when we don't get the full story or the truthful story!

I purposed to NOT get any genetic testing by one of these companies...even though I love genealogy and history. However, a sibling decided to go for it...so what difference really does that make for me and my family if we chose not to? garrr... Regardless...I've said all along that if you've ever had blood drawn or surgery...then they already have your dna. So. I'm pretty sure if we were anywhere close to that line...they'd already know without 23 & Me. Just my own humble opinion.

I skip genetic testing but my brother has a kit number for ancestry.com. They are more specific with real names dates and locations if it's available.
