A Ukrainian soldier tells a Vice reporter that it seems like his government's plan is the deliberate eradication of its own population:

"Our equipment shoots heavy artillery only 5 times while theirs shoots 500. I don't know what the government's plans are, but it feels like the extermination of its own population. Like of the combat-ready and working-age population."
