Can't help but wonder how long we have already been watching Avatars.
Good point. They really want us to admire avatars. I joined an online game several years ago that worked through avatars and saw the allure of making oneself look any way you wanted with superhuman abilities, etc. My grandchildren were very into these games. It was superficial and deadly boring but somehow compelling. In Minecraft one can kill virtual animals. I played it with them and banned killing or I wouldn’t play. They thought it was fun to break that rule and did other cruel things like lock my avatar in a pit. I witnessed how that generation was conditioned to live online doing cruel things without consequences. There are millions of children like this. I wanted to take away their ipads and not give them phones. Their parents ignore me. The eldest flunked his first year of college and moved home, stays in his room playing these games.
My husband has a nephew who is one of those. Now an adult in his late 20's and he still stays in his room at his grandfather's house. Totally dependent.
The true destruction of families and children has been accomplished by these games and parents who allow them. Tried to warn out son about this but he wanted his children to become game designers of all things. Of course they aren’t designing anything, just being used by that industry. God help the children!
I jst heard a report that the rock group ABBA is holding internet concerts where the entire concert is fake, I guess it's avatars of the band members, Fake or not, people are buying tickets to these imitation concerts and ABBA has made millions from this baloney.
But I think I might be alone in thinking it's baloney, given the $$$ this is generating.
It’s true ABBA started this fake concert scam. People who buy and attend are mind washed and might never awaken because they like phony as much as real people. Concerts are satanic events to control people and influence their feelings and thoughts. You give yourself over to the manipulation and become a unit within the music machine. Most classical music concerts are different because the music is based in frequencies and melodies that heal.
