Wonder what we will do with it, when it is handed back?

I have oft thought, that those who desire political power, are the very LAST types who should be given it.

Also that picking political candidates should be done like juries.

Population fills out a questionnaire, and a computer picks names at random, from across the political spectrum. They serve for 4 years after a years training. Each position has 3 substitutes with similar views, and who receive the same training.

They are well compensated during the 4 years. Once served their names are taken off the list, and they return to their normal lives.

Lobbying is illegal, taking ANYTHING from anyone other than the salary is illegal. Every 6 months, their progress is checked and made public.

Their office is covered by cctv cameras, feeds available to the public.

If they miss too many days on the floor of the House, they are replaced, by one of the reserves.

I'm sure humans would find a way to finagle...
