Shriner = muslim

Not heard that before, intersting

I did not know Shriners were Masons. I thought they were a different organization.

There was a story in my Mums family that we were jewish, and that the family name was changed from Roseberg, to 'Rose', when the family moved to the UK...

My grandad was a 33° Mason and head of his lodge twice, in the 50s. I only found this out this year, as my Mum happened to mention it. He went to church regularly, and sang in the church choir... a good cover for the organization.

I am seeing comments on AU the last few days, presenting islam as the victim, and/or that islam is being used by the US government, and that the issue is with the 'other' muslims, that most muslims are 'peaceful'.

We are seeing the same tactics, being used on us - again, because, until now, they have bern very effective.

Carole, It couldn't have been easy to write this.
One of my grandfathers was a driver for the Mafia for a while.
My other grandfather was murdered.
If everyone told their family's history, it might be interesting.
(I don't believe the sins of the fathers fall on the children btw)
I am seeing, insistent and at times, rabid, anti-Semitism on AU:
What happened to "Everything we've been told is a lie?"
BUT NOW EVERYTHING SAID AGAINST JEWS IS THE TRUTH???
Makes no sense.
I know people from many countries and cultures and individually, find people are good.
I’m Christian with a plethora of beloved Jewish friends, so now I say I am Jewish.
With 'pro-Palestine/Hamas-anti-Israel' comments the hatred feels unreasonable and inexplicable.
Consider that the Deep State is worldwide, most leaders are DS.
Why is it okay, regarding Israel, to condemn people because their leaders are evil?
If that was a universal thing, we would all be goners.

I forgot to say - thank you for telling your family history, yes, I agree, if everyone related family stories I think we would all benefit from the insights.

My Dads side is Scottish... I think it is from there I get my ability to douse for water, my love of the outdoors and animals, and, now, the ability to sense a lie, whether spoken or read...

I think the Celts were more in touch with their instincts - they lived in nature longer, were resistant to city dwelling for more time than many others, who, due to the proximity of city life - abandoned the ability to sense untruth, it was too dangerous in the city to call someone out... and distance was harder to put between you.

This is conjecture, but I think it is valid... if I see evidence to refute, or change the reasoning, I will.
