And I said, βHere am I. Send me!" π
A 10 year old poem from a younger me inside a journal I found in my nightstand drawer.
In the vast expanse of night's embrace,
a little star waits with longing grace.
Her light, a beacon in the darkened sky,
Guiding traveling souls as they wander by.
But deep within, a sadness resides,
For love's sweet touch, she yearns and hides. She gazes upon the distant moon's glow, Dreaming of a love that will someday show.
Little star please don't lose hope,
Love's arrival is but a cosmic slope.
In the vast realm of galaxies above,
Your heart will find its cherished love.
