See the pattern, see the players - even those who have built relationships with you for a long time.
Infiltration requires patience, lots of patience... building confidence, building a following, creating an image in peoples minds.

But, do you think an operative on AU, for instance, is 'compromised' in this manner, or, (more likely), a believer that they do 'Gods (or, whatever name they give the deity's) work'?
It is not just those at the top, but the vast army of mind controlled drones below enacting their plans... and are these not the ones we are trying to deprogram?
Of course, being a male in Islam gives one a huge amount of personal power - complete control over another. That's a hard addiction to give up, particularly when you are told God approves.

They are willing participants - they believe they are on a holy crusade.
We, I think, will be surprised at how many we are communicating with, are like them. Infiltrators for their holy war.
Wars based on dogma, have always been the most bloody and long lasting.
Land, food, water can be negotiated - religious indoctrination is very hard to counter.
The individual has to step away from it willingly, it cannot be forced, and, as I said, when those with power in a community (no matter how small), are told they rule by 'divine right', presenting contrary info to THAT, is going to be tough.
