Recipe for Cornbread made in a Iron skillet..
Preheat oven at 400
Butter the skillet really good

1 & 1/3 Cup Cornmeal
1 & 1/3 Cup Flour (Gluten Free is ok too)
3 Tbs Sugar in the raw
1/2 tsp Celtic or Pink Salt
2 eggs
1 Cup Buttermilk
1 8oz can finest Cream Corn you can find.

Bowl 1) Combine all dry ingredients

Bowl 2) Mix eggs, Buttermilk and cream corn together
Add the dry to the wet until well combined.
Pour batter into skillet and bake for 45 min

For another style that is a little fun and spicy and yummy…add shredded cheddar cheese, small can or fresh diced green chilies and bacon bits to the final mix before baking and yummmmm! Good luck and enjoy. ❤️

Thank you for this; I was looking for a good cornbread recipe! ☺️ Last time I made it was according to the recipe on the cornmeal mix package, and it came out dry-dry-dry. 😝
