He sure could have used free medical care, although medical care caused most of his problems in my opinion. But NO elderly person should suffer due to a lack of money for health care.

I hate to say this (as a veteran with a father who fought in WWII) - but is this because it is "easy" to do when there are very few WWII veterans left? Kind of "too little, too late" if you ask me.
