WHY I CARRY
I don’t carry because I’m scared necessarily. I carry because I can. Because it’s my 2nd Amendment right and one thing I do know is that when rights aren’t exercised properly, they tend to go away. I carry because I want to protect myself and my loved ones. I carry because I watch the news and I see them discussing the latest murders or mass shootings. People who are pro gun control try and use those things against me. I on the other hand use those things as examples as to why I carry. None of the people in the Cascade Mall that were shot and killed knew that on that day some punk-ass 20 year old kid was going to bring a Ruger 10/22 in and shoot them.
Because I know that all too many people who say things like, “that’ll never happen here” or “that’ll never happen to me” become victims to someone who’s nuts that shoots and kills them. Will it ever happen to me? Who knows? I sure as hell hope not. I’m not in any hurry whatsoever to have to shoot another human being. That
