Forgive? Absolutely (for my own peace of mind). My dad repented for not seeing what mom was doing in a letter. My mom probably never will b/c she's bipolar, narcissist's & a repeat offender of child abuse to an 11 yr old boy.

This hit home hard!!! The people who raised me had no clue! Emotionally unavailable and wanted a perfect child. When I had kids, I swore wasn't going to be like them, but only knew what NOT to do, didn't necessarily know what TO do!! In hindsight, did somethings awesome, other things, not so much. Always tell my kids, learn from my mistakes and do better with your kids.
