Statins cause excruciating joint pain.
I have told 3 drs now - "Prescribe all you want - I will NOT take statins."

My husband still insists on taking a low dose statin... then complaining about ankle, hip pain... geez.🙄
Honestly, I have told him, but, he still thinks drs are all trying to help...
Of course now he is not running, he is putting on weight - which is WAY more unhealthy for him.
I'm sorry to hear that and I feel your pain.
My husband still uses Fluoride toothpaste and eats oreos.
