My pet peeve is Caltrans widening freeways with our tax dollars and then charging us to drive on them by paying for FasTrak. I was overjoyed to see the 405 in Orange County widened by two lanes, then they turned around and designated them toll røads. They're obviously not using our gas taxes to fix the horrible roads and just skimming the funds. FasTrak is just another way to rip off California drivers.
Every CalTrans employee needs to be fired and charged with fraud and grand larceny.
