The seed of Ibraham (Abraham) is said to be the one to inherit the promised land.
The first seed of Ibraham was Ishmael. However. Ishmael was born of Hajar an Egyptian (Muslim) and the Jews decided to leave him out of the equation.
Instead, they deemed the second son of Ibraham to be the 'seed'.
Why?
Because Issac was born of Sara, Ibraham's wife, who is known to be Jewish but was from UR which was a Sumerian city in Mesopotamia that is Iraq.
All this struggle because of a disagreement about who is considered to be the seed of Ibraham by the Jews who wrote the Torah.
