The Nomination & Speaker vote should not be held in secret. There is no provision in the Constitution or in House rules for a secret election of Speaker. Being chosen this way he's subject to impeachment & removal. Scalise is UNIPARTY & no different from McCarthy.
The Constitution and House rules require the election of the Speaker be held in an open and public forum, where all members of the House have an opportunity to participate.
This is not supposed to be held behind closed doors. Period. What they are doing is illegal.
