We should also bear in mind that American luxury resorts and franchises of all kinds along with American individuals buying fancy winter homes in Latin America drastically drove up real estate prices and every day cost of living forcing so many of these good people to come looking for a better life with higher wages. My trips in Mexico I met the most wonderful people working in billion dollar American hotels/resorts making $2 per day and surviving on tips

Crime was getting out of control back in Alberta where we have a large Philippine and Chinese community. They were all awesome kind people, the crime was 99.9% Canadians with drug addictions to acid, weed, crystal meth. Many youth I knew from young ages who had addicted parents or were neglected
