Entirely depends upon the currency and region from where it's purchased. We are seeing a decoupling of Gold/Silver at a distance that is all together new, and as telling as it is alarming.
The FIAT/PETRO Dollar is in a death spiral, the masses whom are still asleep only notice the symptoms of what is coming.
FWIW: We keep only the minimum money in banks to pay the mortgage/utilities. Every other cent is converted immediately to other assets that can be easily liquidated into other currencies.
The speculation on where Gold/Silver are going to be after the ISO20022 FINTECH Digital Shift to Tokenization/Blockchain is as wild as anything else we're watching.
