The World is changing and I'm on the Transition Team! Trump Won and even better God Wins ~ Once In A Lifetime

The Oregon Umpqua National Forest botany crew this year, made up of Forest Service employees and intern partners from Chicago Botanic Garden, Student Conservation Association, and Umpqua Community College, has collected 303 pounds of fruits for post-fire restoration!

These elderberry, bitter cherry, mountain ash, thimbleberry, serviceberry, and dogwood will be grown at the Dorena Genetic Resource Center and other local nurseries.

In one or two years they will be planted back out on the landscape. These 303 pounds of fruit are in addition to another 158 pounds of 32 non-fruit species of seeds (grasses, forbs, etc.).
