Couldn't wait to get home to share my experience today at Hobby Lobby.
Was looking at yarn & an elderly lady came around to the aisle I was in. She started talking to me & said they don't have Hobby Lobby in Alberta, Canada. Said they are closing lots of places there cuz 'you know our govt' ...Then she told me she had lots of names for Trudeau, one of which was pecker head 😂😂😂😅😅😅. Her husband showed up by this time. We talked, & then she told me they wanted to come here back in March but they couldn't cross the border cuz they didn't get the shot! Well, now I knew I could really talk to them!!! We talked a good 1/2 hour bout EVERYTHING, just not Q. But, quite the whipper snapper & they have had enough!!! She said Canada needs a Trump! After that we parted ways but I went back to find them. I got their names, Kathryn & Wally (Walter).

Seems silly to some, but for us it is such a great feeling of vindication in a way. A real live person to person connection other than thru the internet/SM sites, but I do love you guys here in sharing these experiences. When I got home I thought perhaps I should have asked them to come to my house for coffee so we could chat some more. She said to me 'we clicked' 😍

We exchanged emails & phone#'s. I'm on cloud 9 💫cuz when you make a person to person connection with ppl on same page it lifts your spirits! On top of that from another country! We said our goodbyes & she said to email her so 'we can shoot the shit' 😂😂😂😂😍
What a sweet couple that made my day so much more worthwhile. So here's to all the Canadian friends here! I told her have faith that things are going to turn around. She said, 'I hope it's soon', which I replied, 'its up to the guy above' 💖

She also gave me a good history lesson of Canada's politics, sharp women! Wally was pretty quiet most of the time, as soon as he started to say something she butted in 😂😂
