...David was in great distress because the people spoke of stoning him, for all the people were [a]embittered, each one because of his sons and his daughters. But David felt strengthened in the Lord his God.

It's hard to be surrounded by "embittered" sheep (people). Reminding myself to take my strength from the Lord, and not my own feeble attempts to change the world.
