This was a common occurrence in the summer months where I grew up in a suburb of Chicago. We didn’t get the warning truck telling us to go inside though. All us kids just continued playing.

I'm in Central/Upstate NY Area's near me get sprayed, they warn a few days ahead of time, but they only spray the swamps. Unfortunately they keep forgetting to spray the DC Swamp ! 😭
