From what Nana understands it always had to be a certain sequence of events to happen leading up to military stepping in the Fall.
And the sequence of events seem to be aliening now.
Next fall is too far away for this to continue with out it.
It has always had to be at a time when people and the military could survive outside, not in the cold of winter the heat of summer.
