True Native Americans throughout the Americas lived closer to the Earth no doubt. They did not have modern technology, they used the natural resources.
Their faiths were often beliefs in nature and worshipping nature. Not The One true G-d, HaShem.
However, the native nations still fought wars. Bloody wars. It was not peaceful. One tribe fought against other tribes. The Americas were not peaceful before European settlers came.
Also many Native American peoples, their cultures were into human sacrifice. Not all but many.
It has now been proven that indeed cannibalism was taking place in the Americas by native Americans. Again not all tribes but several tribes, it’s been proven. Perhaps it was more wide spread than we know.
Columbus said so in his diaries regarding the Caribs and how they were attacking other tribes and taking their women and then eating their men. The Caribbean region is named after these native people who participated in cannibalism.
