I often hear people say, "You're kind." It's because I can't just leave people who are struggling or feeling down, but it doesn't mean I'm inherently kind.

It's just that their emotions flow into my heart, and I can't ignore them.

I'm acting for my own sake. That's all.

So when I saw the statement, "All things are part of one huge consciousness," it made a lot of sense to me.

I'm experiencing it.

I'm not visually assessing their situation or state, judging with my brain, and thinking I want to help.

Their emotions directly enter my heart just as they are.

From childhood until I turned 19, I believed that all of humanity was like that.

So, despite how tough things were, I always thought it was incredible how everyone managed to maintain a composed appearance. I believed that not being able to overcome it made me an inferior human being.

Except for one person, nobody else had that sense.

And that one person was someone named Kouji, just like me.
