Something that is bothering me about land ownership talk in Hawaii. Long time ago I remember reading something and also it was talked about on a documentary. True land ownership isn't possible in Hawaii unless you are a native born to those islands and have a family line to show it. I remember it was said you can never own the land and if you purchase something in the Hawaiian islands you are merely buying a lease on the property for 99 years. After 99 years, the lease can be renewed. Just something to put out there.
