These birds reminded me of two parakeets I had many years ago -- one female, one male -- Little Girl Bird and Ditty Bird (yes I know; unimaginative names 😣)
We had a huge ficus tree in the house, and the birds loved to sit on a branch.
One day we were watching them --
Little Girl Bird moved next to Diddy Bird;
he looked at her and moved away.
She moved next to him again;
he looked at her and moved away.
She got in his face & went "SQUAWK SQUAWK SQUAWK SQUAWK SQUAWK SQUAWK SQUAWK!!!" then scooted right beside him again.
He dropped his head, closed his eyes, and just sat there, defeated.
We laughed so hard! 🤣
