Day 8 with our air conditioner still not fixed and it was 117 degrees again in Phoenix. The company promised us our parts would arrive today and they'd have the repairs done but now they are saying the parts from Trane never arrived and are saying "maybe tomorrow". This is ridiculous. 😜🤦🏼‍♀️

We checked out of our hotel this morning and headed home thinking the repairs would be done as promised. We spent 8 days there and over $1,000 on lodging while we waited.

Our neighbor gave us an old used window A/C unit that hubby rigged to temporarily work in the guest bedroom so we at least have a cool place to sleep. So thankful he is handy. I used duct tape and plastic drop cloths from my emergency kit to partition off a bathroom, bedroom and den from the rest of the house so we have a mini living space that is somewhat cool and that gets us thru until the repair people get on the ball.

Has been so frustrating and HOT! Praying that tomorrow the parts finally arrive.🙏🏼
