Well, the only way this would work is if farmers markets were profitable because the government would have to start a war claiming they were bad and then secretly fund them and own controlling interest. Then they would have to completely destroy all other avenues of acquiring food driving the price up on top of all that run a propaganda campaign showing children eating fresh fruit and dying from it.
It isn't impossible, its just going to be a hard sell for the boxed mix crowd who wouldn't know how to prepare anything fresh from scratch!
