I read about and applied the tactic of detaching from anticipation to decrease or eliminate anxiety, worry, irritation. It is said one can step outside of time with this approach. Time pressure and anticipation are synergistic. One can decouple time pressure from expectations. I’ve had success with this, feeling steady, strong, ready.

Had similar experience, also left the church over it. Best decision for my family. So many inappropriate denigrating pressures there. We are sustained by God’s Word and without a priesthood’s judgement.

Christian! Believer of Jesus Christ! Wife, Mom, rancher, love our vets, our military, and conservative police officers! NO FLIRTING DM’s!

I must be an anomaly because I am a Christian cowgirl, wife and mom. work side by side with a man, (although he does the heavy lifting.) I ride horses, drive tractors, use a chainsaw (mine is small), mow grass and weed-eat, feed cattle, shoot wild hogs and coyotes, can fruit and jellies, work in the garden, cook, clean house, pay bills, run my own business and birthed and raised a son. I go to church and have a deep faith in our Lord, Jesus Christ. The ladies at church don’t treat me any different than any other woman. I also married a real manly man that works harder than me and prays and worships God as well with me. Neither of us have anything to prove to anyone and we watch what we say around others.
