Myanmar's military leader Min Aung Hlaing says the military had to step in to take control of a government that took power by rigging elections. Soon, the military will once again ensure a true democratic election procedure and eliminate foreign forces that manipulate democracy not only in Myanmar, but around the world, as the 2020 US election showed.
