Treason could definitely be seen as facilitating a invasion of a known enemy during a declared war.
The war on drugs was declared during the Reagan administration, and it was backed up by congress with 470 billion in appropriations at the very beginning of it.
I believe that this is why Reagan was shot.
He put the CIA clandestine drug operations squarely in the crosshairs for treason.
So yes it’s treason!
It’s important to note that our foundation fathers didn’t want this charge to be used Willy Nilly .
